Time: Meetup 9:30a / Pack away 10a

Hares: Odor Eater and PMS
NO HASH CASH – FREE FOR HASHERS / THIS EVENT IS FUNDED BY THE KCH3 KENNEL

Details: Due to stadium security operations, we’re moving our annual Chiefs Tailgate Trail to an offsite location. We’re bringing the party to the ‘Dotte. We even acted like adults and rented the shelter!!

Expect a short trail around 2 to 3 miles, perhaps longer for eagles. THIS EVENT IS FREE – includes beer/beverages and food! We’re probably doing a weenie roast so get ready to shove copious amounts of tubed meat into your Chiefs loving pieholes. A large screen television or two will be setup to watch and cheer on our Chiefs vs Texans. Since we’re in a shelter, THIS HAPPENS RAIN OR SHINE!! It has 4 oversize picnic tables (each holds ten people), but bring a camp chair if you want something more comfortable.

Our Chiefs Tailgate events are an annual tradition, a way for the KCH3 kennel to say a “thank you” for all you wanks who’ve helped and r#n trails with us over the years.

5 October 2019 BarK Trail

posted in: KCH3 Hashes | 0

This is a T.U.R.D. (tethered urban running dogs) trail!

On-after will be at Bar K to ensure those puppers & doggos will be extra tuckered out.

Never been to Bar K? Don’t have a dog of your own but love creeping on other hooman’s pets? Well you’re in luck because there will be so many dogs! All.The.Dogs.

Entrance fee for your dog at Bar K is $10. Entrance for hoomans is FREE. There is a full restaurant and multiple bars inside the dog park.

Don’t love dogs as much as the rest of us? (there’s definitely something wrong with you if that’s the case) No worries- dogs are NOT allowed inside the restaurant and several of the outdoor spaces so you can avoid all the furballs (but seriously, why would you want to??).

Location: Bar K parking lot
Hares: Hoist N Moist
Meetup: 2pm
Pack Away: 2:30pm
Hash cash: $5
On-after: Bar K (FREE entry for humans; $10 for dogs)

28 September 2019 Tech on Trail (Smart phone required

posted in: KCH3 Hashes | 0

KCH3 Tech on Trail (smartphone a must!)
When: Sat, September 28, 2019
Time: meetup 2p / chalk talk – pack away 2:30p
Hares: Odor Eater
Where: 8703 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Mission, KS 66202
(Abandoned K-Mart – park on southwest side of bldg.)
Coordinates: 39.013694, -94.689139

YOU MUST HAVE A SMARTPHONE FOR THIS TRAIL (or follow a wank who has one)

The only true trail marks left by your hare are coordinates!
Details during chalk talk, but here’s the gist: Most map apps (Google Maps, Apple, etc) accept geographic coordinates using Earth’s latitude and longitude. YOU’LL ENTER COORDINATES (located on trail) ON YOUR PHONE TO YOUR MAP APP (use coordinates for starting location above to experiment with).

Odor will provide the first set of coordinates during chalk talk. Enter them on your smartphone map app. It’ll display where your next mark is located. Get directions to that location and start running. Once there, find in chalk the NEXT set of coordinates. Repeat until you find the Beer Stop. Along the way, there’ll be turkey and eagle coordinates.

We’ll do two beer stops. Expect approximately 3.5 mile turkey / 4.5 mile eagle / 6 mile super eagle.
